First of all, a vehicle tracking device must be actively working in your vehicle. Although the vehicle tracking device has an internal battery, it mostly gets its energy from the vehicle's battery.
The vehicle tracking device periodically sends the location information it detects via GPS (Global Positioning System) and/or GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) satellites to the main servers according to the vehicle's movements. The information is delivered to the servers over a secure network. Therefore, vehicle tracking devices must also contain 1 M2M data line.
The data coming from the device is processed on the main server and can be viewed on applications and web screens.
